C1 Mobility In Çeşme: March 4–8, 2024

Focus: Exploring the rich history of the Mediterranean through music, dance, and documentaries. Key events included:

1. Sea Boundaries and Maps Exhibition: Featuring the works of Piri Reis and a lecture by marine historian Prof. Dr. Ali Rıza İşipek at the historic Haralambos Church.

2. Cultural Dance Performances: Traditional dances from France’s Basque region, Italy, Portugal, Latvia, Romania, and Turkey.

3. Visit to Ege University: Workshops on documentary filmmaking led by experts.

4. Underwater Archaeology Session: Insights into underwater exploration at Dokuz Eylül University.

5. Guided Visits: Tours of the House of Virgin Mary and Ephesus Ancient City, including a communal lunch.

6. Workshops and Certification: Training sessions at local high schools, culminating in a certification ceremony.

These events fostered cultural exchange and understanding while highlighting the Mediterranean's heritage.

The Erasmus+ "Beyond Boundaries: People" project promotes mutual understanding, cultural sharing, and educational quality on an international level. It continues to offer unforgettable experiences to participants while addressing critical global and societal themes.
