As a partner in the Erasmus+ project Beyond Boundaries: People, coordinated by France, our students received training on adding, deleting, and updating data on our project website, which was developed using Python. Through this training, students had the opportunity to learn the basics of data management in the digital world. Additionally, extensive work was conducted to enable project partners to enter data into the website.
During European Coding Week, various activities were organized to raise coding awareness among students. In the face-to-face event "Taking the First Step into Coding," our students participated in a four-hour coding session on the platform http://compute-it.toxicode.fr. European Coding Week stands out as an initiative aimed at promoting digital literacy in an engaging and accessible way. It is believed that in the digital age, individuals’ foundational literacy skills should include vital abilities related to computational thinking, such as problem-solving, collaboration, and analytical thinking.
Our students, who have learned coding skills, have taken an important step toward becoming more proficient in the digital world, helping them better understand their surroundings and increasing their chances of success in both their personal and professional lives.
